BALANGA CITY, Bataan — Police in this province arrested on Thursday, Aug. 10, the suspect in the killing of a Pakistani four months ago.
Colonel Palmer Tria, Bataan police director, identified the suspect as Angelo Perez, 39, a resident of Dinalupihan town
The suspect has another pending arrest warrant in San Fernando City in nearby Pampanga province.
Perez yielded a handgun and a sachet of “shabu” (crystal meth) when arrested at his hideout in Barangay Mt. View, Mariveles town.
Police said Perez shot to death Imran Akhtar, 44, a businessman, in a private resort in Dinalupihan on May 23.
The suspect was detained at the Camp Tolentino police headquarters.
The police said the motive behind the killing has yet to be established as they continued to hunt down the suspect’s accomplice. INQ
